Why Should You Attend?

Join us on March 12, 2024, for CANA’s annual Lobby Day! Those who attend will be hearing educational presentations from highly respected speakers, attending scheduled legislative visits, and much more.

Grassroots advocacy is vital in raising awareness regarding the issues affecting your practice at the local, state, and federal levels. The purpose of these efforts is so that you, advocating on behalf of your profession, can influence public perception, regulations, or public policy such as legislation! It is even more powerful when a NAR or CRNA takes time from their busy schedule to reach out and advocate for our 2024 priorities. You will not visit with State Representative on your own, all attendees will be paired up with experienced CRNA’s. This event is eligible for Class B credits.

The relationships CANA has forged at the local level and in Sacramento over the years have proved fruitful in preserving your practice in the state of California. Think about it – it is much easier to ask a legislator to take action on a bill when there is already a relationship in place and a familiarity with how CRNAs and SRNA serve the community.
