CANA has developed a specific reservation process to help ensure the integrity of program costs and number of rooms in the block. Please do not use using a travel agency or an “on-line booking engine” when making your hotel reservations. Thank you.
Reservations must be made before 5pm, September 14, 2018 to secure the special CANA conference rate. When calling the reservation line, you must let the reservationist know that you are attending the California Association of Nurse Anesthetists (CANA) meeting. The cut-off date does not guarantee room availability. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card or accompanied by a first night room deposit. Reservations canceled within 72 hours of arrival will be charged at one night’s room rate. Cancellation of Exhibit Space By Exhibitor
All booth cancellations must be submitted to CANA in writing. In the event of an exhibitor canceling booth space, the following cancellation policy will apply.
- Cancellations made on or before September 30, 2018: An amount equal to 50% of the total booth fee will be retained by CANA.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations received after September 30, 2018.
- All cancellation notices must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Recording Waiver (Photography, Audio & Video)
Photography, Audio & Video Portions of this CANA meeting may be photographed or audio/video recorded for various purposes, including reporting, promotion, archival, or sale and distribution. By registering, individuals agree that the CANA may photograph or record by audio/video their attendance and involvement in any portion of the meeting. Furthermore, individuals agree that the CANA may use these photographs and/or recordings without additional approval or permission.
San Diego Marriott Mission Valley Shipping Instructions
Shipping boxes or pallets to the hotel must be addressed with:
- The name and date of your function
- The individual within group who will be signing and accepting financial responsibility on behalf of the group
- The name of the Event Manager for your group
Handling charges apply to all shipments (incoming and outgoing):
- Boxes: $10.00 per box
- Pallets: $75.00 per pallet
Handling fees must be paid on arrival Shipments must not arrive any earlier than three (3) days prior to the group’s arrival. There will be a $20.00 per day storage fee for any shipments arriving more than (3) days prior to the group’s arrival. There will be a $20.00 per day storage fee for any shipments at the hotel after (3) days post conference end date.
