The Foundation works to assure the future success of Nurse Anesthetists and Nurse Anesthetists in training in the state of California.

Scholarship, Student Sponsorship Donations
If you are interested in setting up a student scholarship or sponsorship that will be awarded once or annually, please contact us! Awards
CANA Foundation works closely with the CANA Board of Directors in awarding funds. Awards in the past have included scholarships for poster presentations, grants for research presentation, sponsorship of Student Nurse Anesthetist events and education grants for attendance at AANA meetings.
Foundation 2019 Roundup
2019 was a year of renewal and re-connection for the Foundation. In coordination with the CANA Board of Directors, six students were awarded education grants for attendance at the AANA’s Mid Year Assembly and two students were awarded Scholarships for presentation of Posters and Research. The October CANA meeting saw outstanding generosity with dozens of individual donations, a substantial gift from a Charitable Trust and proceeds from a well attended Saturday evening poolside cocktail fundraiser.
Thank You CANA Members for your generosity!!!
