Vigilance in the OR. Vigilance in Sacramento.
CRNAs monitor every heartbeat, every breath. CANA PAC applies the same vigilance to the Capitol — supporting candidates who protect patient access to nurse anesthesia care and defend CRNA practice in California.
Where your contribution goes
Every session, the Legislature and state agencies weigh in on matters impacting CRNA practice: who may deliver anesthesia, under what supervision, and at what reimbursement. Organized opposition to CRNA practice is well funded. CANA PAC is how California's nurse anesthetists fund a seat at that table — lawfully, transparently, and collectively.
CANA PAC is the state political committee for the California Association of Nurse Anesthesiology. Contributions are used exclusively for lawful political purposes under California campaign finance law and are publicly disclosed.
Candidate Support
Contributions to California legislative candidates — from both parties — who understand and support nurse anesthesia practice and patient access.
Issue Engagement
Supporting the association's presence on bills affecting scope of practice, supervision language, facility staffing, and reimbursement.
Member Advocacy
Building relationships that put CRNAs — not just lobbyists — in front of the legislators who write the rules governing their practice.
Your voice matters. Your support gives it power.
Choose an amount that reflects what it's worth to defend your ability to practice in our state. Contributions of any size above $50 are welcome and disclosed as required by law.
